Eastern State Penitentiary

one of the most haunted places in the world. Eastern State Penitentiary has stood overlooking the city of Philadelphia for 177 years, it's surrounded by a 30' half mile wall and is in the shape of a windmill or a star. It has 15 cell blocks. and has housed over 80, 000 prisoners since it opened in 1829. TAPS was here during it's first and second seasons. They got a figure running away from the camera. and one of their team members ran out of Cell Block 12. I went here as part of my christmas present to Philadelphia. My mom, myself and her friend and her friends son went here. I caught 3 EVP's here. EVP stands for electronic voice phenomena which is the actual recording of ghost voices on a recorder. The voices said "I Wanna Go Home", "Please Help Me", and a dog barking. it's possible that the dog barking was from "Pep" who was sentenced to life in prison for killing the govenour's wife's cat in 1924. or it also could be the guard dogs here as well. Al Capone stayed here for 8 months on a concealed weapons charge. He was haunted by "Jimmy" who was one of the victims in the St Valentine's Day Massacre. Prisoners and guards could hear Capone screaming "Jimmy! Leave me alone Jimmy Go Away Jimmy!" in the middle of the night. Most haunted was here and they experienced some stuff. of course Yvette got scared. Cell Blocks 4 and 12 are the most haunted in the 177-year-old prison. visit the Eastern State Penitentiary site for info: http://easternstate.org/
