The Landmark Theatre, Syracuse.

This Theatre is located in downtown Syracuse, NY. First built in 1928 as Loew's State Theatre. this place is also haunted and I have done many investigations here. Many people have witnessed many things here including a white figure moving throughout the theatre. This is the landmark's most famous resident ghost. her name is Clarissa. I have met her on different investigations-not by sight- but by smell. "Clarissa" has a familiar odor associated with her- the scent of Lilac. I have also heard her footsteps in the basement of this old theatre. We had a Ghosthunter's fund raiser here last October. As we were setting up, our Case Manager heard a woman's voice saying, "We don't want you here". Another time one of our investigators saw a figure walk down the far left aisle and disappear near the stage. I had heard footsteps going up into the dressing rooms back stage. I started to go up the stairs and I heard someone shout my name. I love coming here, because we always get evidence. There are two stories concerning with "Clarissa": 1. that she is a disgruntled actress that didn't get the part she wanted so she is tied to the theatre because of that. and 2. she fell off the balcony when she saw her hubby being electrocuted back stage by the Westinghouse (the thingy that operates the stage lights, curtains screen etc.) We've gotten EVP's (Electronic Voice Phenomena) saying "I fell off". probably meaning that the second story is true.
